In Class Work

"A script is obviously less than a play, while a production is more" (How To Read A Play).

1. The Script means to me as a author or director's understanding or expectation to a play, and it gives all the actors the direction. However, a play is presented by actors who have their own understanding of script and details, so usually a play has more things than a script. Production is the result of a play, even a same actor will have different production of a same play, so it is always changing and it is more interesting.

2. I like this idea, because I can feel the same way. Every time when I read a script I cannot really have a idea of or picture to see it as a play not even as a production. So I try to act it in many different ways which many different settings, then I can find the best way to deliver it to the audience. Some times I may lost my lines during the show, so we need to creat our own lines and they sometimes work better than the original lines.
